GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By accepting each quote, the Client unconditionally accepts the following terms of service of the Company:
– After the acceptance of the quote, no modification or cancellation of the relevant request by the Client is allowed, except with the written agreement of the Company. Otherwise, the Client is obliged to pay the full agreed fee.
– The delivered work is considered finally accepted by the Client five (5) working days after delivery (via courier, e-mail or upon receipt of the documents from the Company’s offices).
– Complaints about problems with the quality of the work should be sent in writing (via e-mail) to the Company within the above five working days and should be accompanied by sufficient clarifications and justification, which should undoubtedly prove the deficiency of the delivered work.
– Any problems in one part of the project do not affect the acceptance and receipt of the rest of the project (such as, but not limited to, the remaining files or the remaining sections of the document).
– The Company assumes no responsibility for the suitability of the translations for the purpose for which the Client intended them, nor for any positive or consequential damages caused to the Client by them.
APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek Law. The Parties shall make every reasonable effort to resolve amicably any dispute that may arise in the execution or interpretation of this contract and/or any other specific legal transaction. In the event that an amicable resolution of the dispute between the Parties is not possible, the Courts of Thessaloniki shall be competent to resolve the dispute.
CONSENT FOR PERSONAL DATA
The company “A. MOURATIDIS AND CO. LP (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), which is based in Thessaloniki, 4 Ionos Dragoumi Street, Thessaloniki, hereby informs you that it wishes to process your personal and sensitive personal data for the performance of the Company’s activities, in accordance with the applicable Greek legislation and the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Your data will be processed for the following purposes:
1) For the performance of translation services and other services that you have requested from the Company (by disclosing and processing your data to third external partners)
2) To inform you about the progress and completion of the work via SMS, Phone or E-mail.
The Company has taken all appropriate measures to protect your personal and sensitive personal data, which will be used exclusively for the above purposes and for the six (6) year period required by the tax law. After this period, the data is permanently destroyed/deleted.
You may, at any time, by written or electronic request to the Data Protection Officer (+30 2118508200, dpo@acmtranslations.gr) of the company, exercise the rights provided for in the above Regulation, including the right to information and access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, portability and the right to object to the above processing.
You also always have the right to contact the Personal Data Protection Authority, which may also accept the submission of relevant complaints either in written form on its Protocol Office (1-3 Kifisias Ave., P.C. 115 23, Athens) or electronically (www.dpa.gr).
By using the services of A. MOURATIDIS AND CO. LP, you confirm that you fully understand the purpose of the processing, the type of your personal data that will be processed, as well as all your relevant rights and you give your free, explicit, special and informed consent in order for the specific personal data mentioned above and concerning you to be processed for the aforementioned specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.
