Translation/Localisation Project Manager
ACM Translations (www.acmtranslations.com) is looking for a full-time Translation Project Manager to work in our offices in Thessaloniki or Athens.
Essential Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of CAT Tools (MemoQ/SDL Studio/Memsource)
- Excellent knowledge of English or German
- Excellent computer skills
- Organisational skills
- Responsibility and team spirit
Advantageous Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience with project management software for translation agencies (XTRF, Plunet, etc.)
- Translation experience
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with clients to define project specifications (charges, delivery date, other requirements)
- Preparing quotes using project management software (XTRF) and CAT Tools (MemoQ)
- Contacting suppliers for project assignments
- Defining workflows, specifications/requirements and managing translation projects
- Preparing files for translation (pre-edit, creating a project in MemoQ)
- Quality control of translated files (Verification/XBench) and preparation for delivery to the client
- Overseeing projects and ensuring that deadlines are met
